Do you believe in Fairies?
Yosei Teikoku / Das Feenreich / Fairy Empire draw upon trance, electronica, neo classical and goth for their music. Visually they are a mix of fascist fashion, goth and anime style. That plus elaborate stagecraft make for some hypnotic performances.
Given the negative press that the band Kishidan got due to appearing in nazi inspired uniforms on MTV Japan’s Mega Vector show, it would be interesting to see what the mainstream media outside of Japan reaction would be to these music makers.
